2026 marks America’s 250th birthday. The Book Cellar will begin celebrating in January with displays of books and media on all things American — our people and literature, art, music, cuisine, science and technology and more.
The Book Cellar will once again have its popular display of Winter Reads offering staff-picked books you can enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate or tea on a cold winter day.
All Book Cellar proceeds support Fauquier Public Library programs.

All Fauquier Public Library locations will close at 5 pm on Wednesday, Dec. 31 and will remain closed Thursday, January 1.
We will reopen at 10 am Friday, January 2.
