Fauquier County Public Library welcomes donations that support its mission to provide resources and programs that seek to inform, enrich and entertain every member of our society.

Money & Bequests

Monetary gifts and bequests from individuals, businesses and civic organizations are always needed. Donate online via credit card through your online library account or send a check, payable to Fauquier County Public Library, along with a completed donation form to Kim Klepatzki, Fauquier County Public Library, 11 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA 20186. Cash donations may be dropped off at your local library. All donations are acknowledged in writing.

Make Honorary & Memorial Gifts

Donations may be made in memory or in honor of friends, family members, teachers or any other significant person in your life. Honorees or their families will be notified of your gift and a gift plate will be placed in the item purchased with your donation. Donate online via credit card through your online library account or send a check, payable to Fauquier County Public Library, along with a completed donation form to Kim Klepatzki, Fauquier County Public Library, 11 Winchester St., Warrenton, VA 20186. Cash donations may be dropped off at your local library.

Donate Gently Used Books & Materials

Donations of new and used books, media items (DVDs, CDs, LPs and audiobooks) and board games/jigsaw puzzles in good condition are accepted at the Friends of the Fauquier Library’s used book store, the Book Cellar. Please review the Donation Guidelines of what we can and can not accept. Donations are accepted during regular Book Cellar hours (Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

Amazon Wish Lists

“Wish lists” for adults as well as children and teens are posted online through Amazon.com. View the lists (you will need to sign in to your Amazon account to see all library wish lists) and select the title(s) you wish to donate. Check the box “This will be a gift” so that the library is notified of your donation then proceed to pay online. Your donation will be shipped directly to the library.

Shop Amazon.com via Wowbrary

Wowbrary is a free subscription service that provides weekly emails showcasing materials that have recently been added to the library’s collection with links directly to the library’s catalog. Subscribing to Wowbrary is easy – simply provide your zip code and Wowbrary does the rest. Wowbrary also works with Amazon.com to support libraries monetarily. Start your Amazon shopping from http://wowbrary.org/fauquier. The library automatically receives a monetary credit whenever a purchase is made through this link. There is no additional cost to the shopper; no further action is required.
