Earlier this year, the library asked its patrons to rank services and materials on a scale of 1-5.  We’re pleased to report the library received good marks -- quality of services was rated 4.8; satisfaction with materials, 4.6; materials availability, 4.2. 


Many responses included comments or questions. We’re glad to hear from you. It helps us serve you better.  So, over the next few months, we’ll answer questions and explain services.


Q: Why don’t you have every book in a series?


· Occasionally copies go missing, aren't returned, or are damaged. When this happens it may not be possible to get a replacement if the title is out of print.


· Most ebooks and eaudiobooks are not permanent holdings of the collection; due to publisher restrictions, most expire after a certain number of months or checkouts. 

· Some authors are very prolific and publish multiple titles in a series every year or two. Sometimes we may overlook a title.


In all cases, please let us know if we are missing something you’d like to read.  If we can’t add the title to the collection, we may be able to get it on interlibrary loan.
