He served as a combat historian in a Marine rifle platoon during the Battle of Fallujah and is a professional speaker on America’s conflicts, espionage, special operations, and counterinsurgency. O'Donnell provided historical consulting for the award-winning miniseries Band of Brothers.
About the Barbara & Keith Severin Lecture Series Mr. and Mrs. Severin were active members of the Fauquier community and ardent supporters of library services. Mrs. Severin served on the library board for 24 years; Mr. Severin was president of the Friends of the Fauquier Library and chaired the Fauquier County Capital Improvements committee.
