More for Young Children

1000 Books Before Kindergarten

It’s never too early to help your child learn to love reading! Join our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program and track the books you and your child read before they start school. Check in regularly at the library to log your progress and receive rewards along the way. Read 1,000 books and make it onto our Wall of Fame!  Reading together from infancy helps to boost your child’s early literacy skills and better prepares them for school. Register online or at your local library branch and then read, read, read!

Art Cart
