Paws to Read

Ages 5-10

Want to share your favorite book with a furry friend? Read aloud to a trained therapy dog from K-9 Caring Angels! Therapy dogs are great listeners and can’t wait to help you practice your reading skills while telling them a great tale. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian; signed permission slip required.

SPLAT (Science, Play, Language, Art, Technology)

Ages 6-8

Learn about the world of science and technology with fun experiments, get creative with arts and crafts, and discover some awesome books!

STEAM for Tweens
Ages 9-12
STEAM for Tweens uses fun experiments and activities to explore STEAM principles. New topic each month. Register online to reserve a bag of supplies to pick up at your library.  The program is posted for on-demand viewing. Only one bag per child and no more than two bags per family.

Summer Reading Program

This annual program provides free programs and activities suitable for all ages, from birth to adult.  Participation promotes life-long learning, helps children retain their reading skills during the summer and motivates people of all ages to read.
