Fines & Fees

Excluding mobile hotspots, overdue fines are 15 cents per day, per item. There is a maximum fine of $5.00 for most items. The overdue fine for materials acquired through interlibrary loan is 25 cents per day, per item.

You may continue to check out items if you have less than $10.00 in fines/fees.

​

Fees for lost or damaged materials include the replacement cost plus the cost of processing, which varies by item type. 

​

You may pay for your library fines and fees by cash, check or online via credit card (for details, see FAQ for online payment of fines and fees).

Library Cards

  • Replacement card – $1

 

Overdues

  • Book or other material – 15¢/day

  • Mobile hotspots – $1/day

  • Per item maximum – $5 for most items

 

Interlibrary Loan

  • Per request from out-of-state libraries – varies

  • Census record – varies

  • Overdue item – 25¢/day

  • Postage – $4 per successful ILL

 

Copying/Printing

  • Photocopy (public copier) – 15¢/page

  • Microfilm – 15¢/page

  • Computer (public) – 15¢/page

 

Lost or Damaged Materials

  • Book, periodical, CD book, DVD – Replacement cost plus processing

  • CD/DVD case, single – $3

  • CD/DVD case, multiple – $5

  • CD/DVD case, with book well – $20

  • CD/DVD illustrative materials (album covers, booklets, liner notes, etc.) – Replacement cost plus processing

  • Storytime-to-Go bag – $7

  • Storytime-to-Go activity sheet – $3

  • Box O’ Books –
