About the event
Sir Peter Crane is internationally known for his work on the diversity of plant life. He is the past director of the prestigious Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew.
Moderator Lou Emerson is an entrepreneurial journalist who launched the Fauquier Citizen and Fauquier Now and several niche publications and websites. An experienced consultant, he is a frequent lecturer and seminar leader for state press associations, colleges and other groups.
OSGF is dedicated to sharing the gifts and ideas of Rachel "Bunny" Mellon.  Its mission is to support and inspire fresh thinking and bold action on the history and future of plants, including the art and culture of plants, gardens and landscapes.
