This program will present the inspiring life of Jewish mathematician Janina Mehlberg, who survived in German-occupied Poland under the false identity of “the Countess Suchodolska,” a Polish Christian aristocrat. Through her relief and resistance activities, she rescued over 10,000 victims of Nazi persecution. Free; no registration required.
