Fiber Plants, an OWLs (Older Wiser Learners) Program presented by Oak Spring Garden Foundation

Participants will explore the versatility of plant-based fibers and learn how plants can be transformed into useful and creative materials. Through hands-on projects such as macramé, woven wall hangings, and fiber pumpkins, participants will experiment with different fiber arts techniques while learning about the plants and natural materials that provide fibers. Previous OWLs program attendance not required. OWLs programs are for older adults who like to get out and about, make new friends, learn new things and share what they know.
